for facilities at Newcastle All Sports Complex. Practice
will begin near first week of March as winter sports come to
a close. Preseason tournament begins after Spring Break and
the season runs through the middle of June.
Home games will be played in Newcastle. Road games will be
played in the surrounding communities of Blanchard, Tuttle,
Bridge Creek, Minco, Verden, Chickasha and Amber-Pocasset.
Game times can be played any night of the week, but are
generally scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Weekends are generally excluded unless rescheduling occurs
for rainouts. Normally game times begin at 6pm. Practice
times and locations will be determined by the head coach. To
ensure adequate playing time and development of players,
NASA limits 12 players per team. If you are a player on a
returning team, please be sure to indicate your desire to
remain on the same team by indicating coach request in
Special Request box at signup. NASA will consider and
attempt to accommodate your request.
REQUIRED TOURNAMENT PARTICIPATION
NASA will host a number of age group weekend tournaments in
Newcastle which require mandatory participation by both
players and parent volunteers. Tournaments will generate
outside funds to support our local youth program and help
keep league fees to a minimum while improving park
facilities. You will be asked to support the youth program
by volunteering in the concession, field maintenance,
tournaments or other youth program needs.
Please contact baseball coordinator Bill Garner at
405-821-7624 with additional questions.

28th. The coach selection committee will process
registrations and assign coaches. All head coaches are
required to be NYCSA certified by the National Youth Coaches
Association. Requirements and online training are available
at
