What it’s all about…..
Little League organization that
has been around for over 45 years
Newcastle Youth Sports is a
community organization that promotes the character and
physical development of our youth. Our mission is to
provide a quality experience for our players and their
families. Through proper guidance and exemplary leadership
Newcastle Youth Sports Baseball, Football and Basketball
programs assists youth in developing the qualities of
citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being.
By giving the virtues of character, courage and loyalty, the
Newcastle Youth Sports Little League program is designed to
develop superior citizens as well as superior athletes.
Our goals are to promote the values of teamwork,
sportsmanship and fair play. And , of course, to teach our
youth the great games of Baseball, Football and
Basketball.
In an effort to promote
these goals, we seek out parents , guardians, coaches, and
donors to get involved in any way they can and serve as role
models for the great youth of the Tri City area. The
objective of the youth Athletic programs offered by N. A.
S. A. is to offer a rich year-round schedule of
participatory athletic activities that teach our players the
proper skills for Football, Baseball, Basketball and more
importantly, for life. N. A. S. A. will provide a solid
foundation so that area youth can be challenged to succeed
to their highest potential in the sports programs they
choose, led by an exceptional, caring staff, in a safe and
positive environment enhanced by our community support.
The Park brings History to our Generations:
One of the
great things about having a community park and organization
for our youth is when you have the history behind it. Our
history brings families like the Corbin’s that have years of
hard work and many hours spent out at this park. For
instance, Randy Corbin and his dad, Bob, dedicated their
time and efforts to build the park where it stands today.
Randy signed up his son Cameron to play in the Little League
program and spent many hours watching him grow, develop
character, courage and loyalty. Now a new generation has
began. Cameron Corbin has been out at the park working on
improvements. And now his son, Bridger, is signed up for his
first year of T-Ball. Those same character building skills,
courage and loyalty have began again. And that’s only one
of the many families that this park brings History to our
Generations.
Where we are headed:
N.A.S.A is
in the planning stages for the Basketball program to start
this year. We are very excited to be expanding the
opportunities for our youth. We want to reach additional
members of our community with additional sports that can be
added to the organization. As many of you may already know,
we have
also been
very active with Park improvements this year. We have had a
great response from our community with donations and
materials for some of the improvements. This, however,
takes a lot of time and commitment and we look forward to
seeing our community step up and take care of the Park that
our youth will continue
to grow and develop into those superior citizens and
athletes. If you would like more information on how you can
positively impact our youth, please contact NASA.

always build the future for our youth, but we can build our
youth for the future.” Franklin D. Roosevelt
